Australia's Kynan Maley tries desperately to avoid the upstream gate pole. This upstream action is slower-moving but the facial expressions can be more intense!

Today the main income for slalom courses is white-water rafting which gives inexperienced members of the public the opportunity to be terrified and wet (in either order!).


The triangular composition appears fleetingly as the paddlers come down the course.

Even on a simplistic calculation the pumping needs 231 shoving into the electricity meter every hour.
