Congratulations to James Gunn with this image entitled 'Scoring'. James from Caithness, Scotland has won 6 months membership to the Society of International Sport & Leisure Photographers.

James explains - ''The image was taken on 9 Nov 2013 at Millbank rugby ground in Thurso, Caithness, home of Caithness RFC. They were playing St Andrews University in the BT Caledonia League Division 1. The image is Caithness player Kris Hamilton scoring a try. They are an amateur team playing in a national league and normally play in front of crowds of around 100 fans. Thurso is only 7 miles from my home in Halkirk.

I borrowed a Canon EOS 5D Mark III from a friend to take the image (to see how it compared against my Canon EOS 7D Mark I). The lens was a Canon 70-200mm f2.8L IS USM Mark II and the focal length was 140mm. Using aperture priority, the settings were; f2.8, 1/1600 sec, ISO100, exposure -0.3.''
