After over seven months of hard work in their pre-season training, both in Cyprus and the UK, the Red Arrows team are granted Public Display Authority, normally in mid May of each year. This means that the team are ready and approved for the new season and geared up to wow the crowds once again. After the announcement is made, the whole squadron changes into their red and blue flying suits to celebrate the official start of the new display season. To accompany the shows, posters, calendars and leaflets are signed and dished out to the adoring fans, with the photography hopefully serving as a suitable memento of the show. In the words of the Red Arrows motto: 'Eclat' - brilliance.
