Paul tells me that his father was the family photographer, always behind the lens. Being distributors of Kodak and Canon, he had no choice! Every odd year or so he would present Paul with a brand new camera.
Being an 'energetic' child he found himself spending many hours with his father. They would watch football and hockey, go for country walks, spend time on their massive garden, travel and go fishing on his father's traditional fishing boat.
Unfortunately, Paul's father passed away four years before the London Olympics; how proud he would have been to see his son working in an Olympic stadium all those years later. Paul has dedicated the IOC Trophy 'Sport & Art' to 'the most wonderful man in his life, his guide, his mentor, his protector, his friend, but most of all, the most loving father anyone can wish for.'
